Kids With A Promise invites you to Mont Lawn Camp! Spend the day with our staff and campers on our beautiful 200 acre property and see how the lives of inner-city children are changed forever. Enjoy our pool, climbing wall, canoes, playground and art center. Spend time and eat lunch with the campers! Help paint a cabin in the afternoon - be sure you wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty! Transportation will be provided from New York City, free of charge. Mont Lawn Camp gives New York City's most at-risk children an opportunity to grow physically and spiritually in an environment far removed from the city streets and housing projects they call home. On 200 acres nestled in the Pocono Mountains, our campers experience swimming, boating, rock-climbing, camping, and the close attention of our caring staff. After their week at summer camp, the children return home refreshed, renewed and possessing new-found confidence and character. |
